2011.2012 Season
Perlman Plays Beethoven
Itzhak Perlman,
violin
Itzhak Perlman, who enjoys one of the most enduring and most rewarding of all soloist/conductor relationships in the TSO's history, performs the keystone of the violinist's repertoire: the serene and glorious concerto by Beethoven. Peter Oundjian pairs it with Tchaikovsky's vivid fantasia inspired by a tragic love story from Dante's Inferno.
