Christopher Redfield, a native of Eugene, Oregon, joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in 1989. He holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the University of Southern California where he studied with Robert Vernon and Donald McInnis.
Mr. Redfield has participated in numerous festivals including the Spoleto Festival in Italy and as Principal Violist of the National Repertory Orchestra (USA) where he twice appeared a soloist. An active chamber musician throughout North America, Mr. Redfield is a former member of the Debussy Trio and a founding member of "The Moveable Feast".
